Two days of NEM Summit, two days of discussions on immersive media in Berlin.
We had the opportunity to chair a session that put persons at the center, where we presented the IMMERSE Project. Our presentation focused on our innovative approach to language learning for foreign students using 3D objects and immersive environments.
It was a valuable platform to discuss how virtual reality and immersive technologies can be tailored to meet the specific needs of language learners, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
The session also featured insights from other impactful projects like ENACT and InclusiVRity, fostering a rich dialogue on inclusivity in immersive media.
The 16th NEM Summit (New European Media) was held in Berlin, hosted by Fraunhofer FOKUS. The summit is a flagship event of the NEM Initiative, bringing together experts to discuss the future of media and technology.
This year’s theme focused on “Virtual worlds for vertical industries,” exploring how immersive technologies are transforming various sectors beyond entertainment.
