The IMMERSE project officially launched with a successful kickoff meeting held in Thessaloniki, Greece on November 21, 2024. This initial gathering of project partners served as a crucial foundation for the project’s future direction. The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to connect, discuss key aspects of the project, and establish a shared understanding of its goals and implementation.
A key focus of the discussions revolved around the development of training materials for the project’s planned VR platform. More specifically, discussions were held about the language, cultural, and educational oriented training materials collection for the population of the envisioned VR platform.
Beyond the content of the VR platform itself, the meeting also addressed the practical aspects of the projects management. Discussions covered administrative procedures, ensuring smooth operation and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This included outlining reporting structures, financial management, and communication protocols. Finally, the partners discussed the project’s dissemination plan.
